Change-makers: Innovation in the Information Community

How do you see information changing? What does the future of information look like? What do you think about the direction that information is taking? What is the relationship between information and technology? How is your field responding to these questions?

What is your perspective?

Have you written a paper or presentation for a class that you would like to share with your peers? Have you had an interesting co-op experience? Do you have a special interest?

Participating in this conference will enhance your personal, professional and academic development and contribute to the broader interdisciplinary discourse.

Now accepting proposals

The FIMS Student Conference Commitee is now accepting proposals for papers, posters, round table discussions, panels, lightning talks, workshops, and any other formats to be presented at the upcoming FIMS Student Conference.

This conference will benefit students of all experience levels by providing the opportunity to formally present their work in a collegial and supportive atmosphere. This conference is being developed and facilitated by graduate students and all presentations will be by students.

All students in information disciplines are welcome to participate

Submissions are welcome from undergraduate, graduate, PhD students and recent alumni. We encourage individuals from the library, journalism, media, communications, information technology and other related disciplines to submit proposals for consideration.
